The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission visited Asbell Elementary, bringing along a mobile aquarium filled with a variety of native fish species. Students were excited to learn about the diverse fish found in Arkansas's lakes and rivers and enjoyed observing them up close. Thank you to Fishing Education Specialist Mallory Woodward for sharing her exceptional knowledge and expertise during the visit.
Former FPS Superintendent Dr. John L Colbert has been sharing the joy of reading all week, bringing “Green Eggs and Ham” to life alongside FPS teacher Tamara Ridout at several of our elementary schools during Read Across America Week.

Fayetteville Public Schools is hosting a Community Night of Coding event to celebrate Computer Science Education Week on Wednesday, December 6 from 5:30-7:00 pm in the FHS Cafeteria.
There will be hands-on computer science-related activities for pre-K through 12th-grade students and their families. Robots, minicomputers, games, crafts and more! Come play, make, and code with us!
