CELEBRATING OUR PRINCIPALS! Meet Tracy Bratton! This is Mrs.Bratton’s 11th year as principal of Asbell Elementary and 16th  year serving in FPS! Mrs. Bratton previously served as an assistant principal at Owl Creek for four years. Prior to that she was a literacy coach and instructional facilitator and taught pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, and first grade. Read on to find out MORE about Mrs. Bratton!! 

Q:  What would students and parents be surprised to find out about you?😮
A:  I have attended 7 different colleges. At one time I was enrolled in 3 different colleges at the same time in California. This was long before attending online was a thing.

Q:  What is one of your favorite go-to feel-good movies? 🍿
A:  My favorite go-to feel-good movie is "Remember the Titans"!

Q:  What is your favorite memory as a principal so far? ✨
A:  If you know me, you know I love kid stories. I always have a kid story to tell. My favorite memories involve kids telling me funny stories and saying funny things to me. One day while helping out in the cafeteria a student said to me, “It's about time you did something around here!" You have to laugh.

Q:  What is your favorite dish from the cafeteria? 😋
A:  Mac and Cheese!

Q:  If you could pass on any wisdom to your students, what would you share? 🦉
A:  Learn to love reading! Reading can open up so many doors in your life and take you to so many places. It can lift your spirits and open your mind to endless possibilities.

A:  Bora Bora
